Sonic Union doesn’t chase eras—they fuse them. Built on classic rock muscle and AOR hooks, driven by funk rhythm, sharpened with grunge edge, and colored by new-wave textures, Sonic Union delivers a live show that’s equal parts danceable, aggressive, and melodic.

Drummer: Luiz Varanda
Originally from Rio, Luiz provides a unique blend of rock, alternative, funk and classic influences to Sonic Union. Rooted in passion and dynamics, Luiz provides the backbone to every song.
Lead Vocals: Mark Phillips
Mark is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and vocalist whose passion for music and decades of performance experience have allowed him to perform across a wide range of musical styles. In August 2026, Mark joined Sonic Union as the band’s lead singer, bringing his experience, energy, and love of live performance to the stage.
